KK Kareers at KK Outlet

Just Us Collective are exhibiting their first group show at kk Outlet!
Simon, Mark and Will (Just Us founders) have done a really good job with the curation and prop sourcing.

'The exhibition is designed as a kitsch job-centre, with tongue-in-cheek references to the social and economic problems associated with the current credit-crunch recession. All of this is a reaction to the student fears of finding jobs after graduating university.'

The show will be on until the end of July so plenty of time to pop down and see it. Look out for the telephone booth and fake cigarettes. (Apparently there is an ipod hidden inside the phone- genius)

My piece consists of two screen-printed posters. I have produced anagrams of the original Job Centre text to create humorous yet puzzling outcomes, mirroring the confusion and frustration one is likely to experience at their local job centre.

Part of the exhibition highlights the collective members' fears about graduating.

Here's mine:

I think my fear is fast becoming a reality.
